Hi All, I found this in a box lot at auction. I don't collect these, so will donate it to someone who does. It came with the box and is in good shape, but the shutter needs to be cleaned and lubricated. Let me know if interested. If you're overseas, you'll have to pay the postage. Doug

Hi All! I picked this one up at a local antique shop the other day. The seller wanted 35 for it. I talked him down to 15USD. It came with the case, only half of which is good, luckily, the bottom half. I don't think it's anything special, but I like the look of it, and couldn't resist Doug

Thanks Guys! It would be a shame to let these go for nothing, they're in pristine condition. I might just set up a spot to display them, I don't have a lot of film items in spite of being a big film buff. Ken was in the Army Air Corp, and a lot of the movies he took pertain to flying. He also used to smuggle Bibles into the former Soviet Bloc Countries, and had to spend time in a Turkish prison for doing so. He was a very healthy for his age, 85, and would walk a lot of miles every day. Quite a guy! I'll miss him greatly Doug His wife just came over, and gave me the keys to his car, I guess he wanted me to have it.

Hi again! I LOVE old movie serials! Right now I've got The Sky Raiders in the, VCR. Yes, I said VCR. I found a copy on VHS. It's hard not watching the episodes all at once, but that would take the fun out of it Doug

Hi All! A very dear friend of mine recently passed away, and his wife asked me (she knows my collecting tastes ) if I wanted some of his old film equipment. It's all in beautiful condition, but she was going to throw it out. He had just finished writing a book about his adventures, and gave me a proof copy. I told him it was very good, and he ordered several hundred copies, not on my say so of course, he just wanted me to have the first copy. A day or two after receiving them, he had a stroke, and passed on. He was a great friend and mentor, and I'll miss him. Anyway, I'd like to try and sell the equipment for her. I think it would be the right thing to do. She gave me several vintage 8mm movie projectors, some film to video transfer items, editing equipment, cases of old films, slide projectors, and slides, with lots more on the way. I don't know what else she has. All that being said, if anyone is interested, send me a pm , or a link to a movie collectors site. I'm also going to list it on e-bay as well. Thanks! Doug

Hi Roy! That's going to be quite a project! Your photos reminded me that the first model plane I ever built as a youngster was an F-86, the second was a MiG-15 Thanks for bringing back a fond memory from my past! Doug

Hi Randy! I have a Speedex Jr. as well, but the lens/shutter is missing However, after much thought (and too many meds ), I've decided to fix it using an old Olympus lens/shutter that I have. The Oly is toast, so it should make a good combination, and I've still got that white leather. My problem so far is that the bellows on the Ansco is so dried up, that I'm afraid to try opening it. Any ideas on getting the bellows pliable again? Doug

Mickey, Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease reconsider. It wouldn't be the same without you. Besides, you're the only one that can post a photo of one of those black squirrels that you have up there. I consider each and every one of you to be my friends, and friends don't get mad about accidently deleting some files. Shoot, I done a lot worse things than THAT Doug

Hi All! My nephew came over the other day and asked me if I still collected cameras and parts. I said "Sure I do!" He gave me a lens he'd found in an apartment he was cleaning. His boss told him he could keep it as the apt. had been empty for a long time, and he wouldn't know who to send it to anyway. It appears to be a professional grade camcorder lens. It is a Fujinon Gemini / A12X9BERM - 28C, 1:1.7 / 9-108mm lens. It's a massive thing with all kinds of plugs, buttons, switches, etc. I've looked on-line, and they're quite expensive. I could probably list it and make a tidy profit, but I'd rather find out what it is, give it a good cleaning, and see if it could be used on a different camera. I'm funny like that I'll post a couple of photos in the morning if anyone is interested. Doug

Hi All! I just received this in the mail today. It was bought as a project/parts camera for .99 cents US with 6 USD shipping. I don't know anything about this model, and would like to get some info on it from one of you Minolta collectors The serial number is 119576. When built, what kind of battery, numbers made, etc. I've read they're kind of hard to find, but it looks as though I can use some parts from an old Autoshot I have. Doug

Hi All! One of my camera interests is the sub-miniature format. There's just something about them that gets me going! I can still remember going to the shops in NYC as a child and seeing them in the windows, I also bought and used several "Hit" types while still in elementary school Today, I was trying to get on the subclub web site to look up a camera that I'm bidding on and found a dead link. Is there no longer a subclub? Oh please, say it isn't so!! Doug

Hi there, and welcome! That is a beautiful shot, and done the way I like! Out of the ordinary I don't have a 4/3 camera, but have heard of people using 16mm movie camera lenses with the right adapter. Doug
