Z for Zeiss Ikon Voigtlander Vitessa 100 SR. My camera does not work - it had been at least partially dismantled by the previous owner (leatherette peeled back and screws missing) but it looks fine.

Mine is the older version - the viewfinder housing moves to one side to open/close the front. Mine was VERY stiff to start with - I was doubting I was doing the right thing in trying to move the housing. Now I have treated it with WD40 the housing moves itself when I close the front.

Gelatine buried in the ground for 70 years - and was still intact. I, too, am sceptical.

As this thread reaches record length, there will be letters that hang it up. I suggest that we give 24hrs and if there is no posting, then we should move on to the next letter. What does everyone think? I hate to see the thread dry up before our cameras collections are exhausted. David Be patient. I am buying new cameras as fast as I can.

Mickey thats not a camera. You can do better than that for S surely!! Genazzano neither is your tripod head but it is a genuine camera accessory, and a lovely looking one too. But what was the rogue "S"? It doesn't seem to be there anymore.

Olympus OM10. It has died, I do not know why. It was working OK not so long ago and I took it out last week to use and it is quite dead even with a new battery. The abbey were Count Dracula came when he moved from Transylvania to England - Whitby Abbey, Yorkshire.

David, I have only had one problem with Ebay and that was a seller pulling a fast one - he had dismantled the camera and could not get it back together and claimed he did not know. Ebay put that right - the rest of my Ebay transactions have been fine.
