B for Balda Super Baldina. A nice camera with a ridiculous pop-out front. The lens pops out about 0.5cm for use. Why bother? I took delivery of one of these this very afternoon - £9.99 including postage. It is currently loaded with Fomapan 200 for testing tomorrow. Mine has a Prontor SVS shutter rather than the Compur Rapid that yours has, otherwise the same. Took me ages to work out why the lens would not focus nor the shutter fire - then I managed to press the right button, the lens popped out and all is fine.

Voigtländer Vitomatic II. I like this nearly as much as my Vito B.

Kodak Retinette type 119. Not sure why this is a Retinette and not a Retina as the two liners seem to be identical.

Ensign folding camera - I do not know what model. Must have been made between 1937 (date Gauthier introduced the Singlo shutter) and 1939 (date we British stopped trading with Germany. Images have very pronounced vignetting.

Kodak Brownie Vecta - my first 'decent' camera bought for me for my (I think) 12th birthday. I have ignored "U" as a day has passed without a "U" and I do not have one.

It is not copy and pasting of the image you need to do but of the image's address. You click on the picture icon on the posting window and insert the photo's internet address.

I reduce photos to 1000 pixels on the long side before posting them. I then upload to Picassa on Google+ and copy/paste the URl of the photo from there. It works just fine.

I have four BJPs from various decades - very interesting. The oldest is 1936 and the newest is 1980. I was saving them for B, J or P.

Not a camera, but a photographic item - a Wallace Heaton catalogue from 1952. Contains lots of info about cameras being sold in London in that year. Very interesting. The main headings in the catalogue are: cameras accessories lighting materials darkroom equipment enlargers still projectors cine projectors tape recorders binoculars microscopes albums books services

I got bored last week and had a look on Ebay - usually a dangerous thing to do. I ended up with a Kodak Retinette type 013. On arrival, the shutter was jammed solid - someone had tried the self-timer to bad effect. It took me nearly ten minutes of waggling levers to free the shutter which now seems to be working just fine. I currently have a test film in the camera and I will see exactly how well the shutter works once I have developed that. I am waiting for day-light first - we currently have dense murk. I tried the camera yesterday mid-day and it would have needed 1/25 at f/4.5 with 200 ASA film (all I have available)- I can no longer fool myself that can hold a camera steady at 1/25.I

B for Balda Jubilette. Rather fiddly to use but produces good pictures. Barge on the Witham, Lincoln city centre.
