People in the streets of our cities and towns are a wonderful subject for photography and much has been written about street photography. I hope to get back and do more but here are a couple of my favorites. Please share yours as well. People straining to see the procession pass by in our town. David

I love to collect cameras too, and especially to look into the camera's history as well as the people and companies that made them. Making images is a different story. Today we drove to Orvieto and I took along my Nikon F3 and the D70. By the time the film is developed and digitized using the same D70 on a PB6 set up, I really won't recall which images were made with which camera. That goes for the rest of the film cameras that I periodically load up with film. Since all images are digitized and all image EGIF files will report the same DSLR, I have long ago lost interest in which camera did what. Perhaps if I were more cynical I would post images made with an Argus C3 on a Leica site and watch the practically endless bs about how the cognescenti can recognize a Leica photograph. Here is a shot taken again at the procession. This time as Delilah passed by some critics. David

They are strict carnivores. If they can't find a good hunk of meat to satisfy their hunger they will try to swallow their nose. They rarely succeed so they have to settle for mushrooms. That is why there are so few of them. They are not dangerous but if you see one with no nose and a hungry look in his eyes you had better skedaddle. Mickey

Except for cropping out some of Samson's muscles and an auto contrast, no PSing there. (Or were you joking, Mickey?)
Ah... That's what that word means. It helps if you can take your teeth out, no?

Mickey, I did notice that when Samson walked by the men sucked in their gut and stood a bit straighter.
I forgot to compliment Belgiumreporter's photos. Excellent street shots. What camera did you use? My old D70 can't match them either. Makes me want to get a new camera and get out and shoot. My compliments.
