Hello Berndt the hotspot phenomenon is caused internal reflections inside the lens, that shows up as small light patchs when printed. More prevelant at smaller apertures. But can be eliminated just by changing the aperture.

Hi Berndt I have several Industar lenes and reckon most of the time the results are fine. The only real problem I have found is some of the have a hot spot.

It was Christmas 1960 and I was given my dream camera.. It was the 35mm Kodak Retinette 1A very basic but very well made.. No range finder of exposure meter, but we are talking about the 1960's For many years it gave good service, then one day I made the mistake of lending it to a chum .. My 1A was never to be seen again . I always keep a look out on eBay for one for the collection, but when they do come on the market the price is really high. The other day my luck was in, for just $30 and that include postage a guy had one for sale in Perth...

The second image is far the best.. I reckon the downside of digital processing is the image get that overworked/clinical look

Problems with the new Photobucket.
I had several hundred image on that site, but since the format of that site has been change and it's no longer possible viewing page by page. I have remove many of my older images, so it speeds up finding the latest picture..I reckon the PB was great and as for the new .. wonder why it was changed??

Okay the quality is crap.. but it's a start. First test image . the pinhole use was on the large side 500 micron so that is the first thing that will be changed. I'm thinking 200m would be better. The cut off at the top of the picture should be better now I have removed some of the timber around the pinhole. It is not that large. First image taken at the wrong time of the day. This is the shot taken with my DSLR

Hi Julio the results can look great..but that's not always the case. Over the years I have made several and must admit it's not the most user friendly pinhole format. One problem is the focal length in this little camera it's 15- 45mm and the angel of view isn't the way you think it should be .
