Hi !
This camera looks new indeed ! I have seen many heavy used, or rusty and chipped Ruberg`s in my life. All of them had been black. I think the red version is the really rare one ( have one in my collection ). I also had a Ruberg spare part in my VW beetle back then in the early 1980`s, I think it was some exhaust sleeve ;-) Ruberg cameras are not easy to find, especially in this condition. Congratulations !

Hi Matty !
You found some cool cameras ! The first one is an Adox Polo from 1960. These viewfinders had been made in various variations in the 1960`s by Adox, Dr. Schleussner Camera Works in Frankfurt / Germany. The "Adox" badge should be in the horizontal 8 recess at the front of your camera.

Hi ! Here are some impressions from todays weather over here. We have not seen the sunshine since three months. The newspapers tell that this is the coldest spring since 135 years. I am so sick of it ! What is the weather like where you live ? MIK

Hi David !
Really a very nice tropical camera ! Unfortunately also no idea about the manufacturer, but as you said, it looks like an Minerva.

Hi ! I found this unusual camera some weeks ago: A rocket camera for 110-film from 1979. It had been partly assembled and came in the original box with a lot of accessories ( all complete ) and operating instructions. The head of the rocket includes a small 110-format camera which takes pictures through a deflecting mirror. After taking a picture the rocket will return by a parachute. Now it is ready for take off, but i think I will keep it as a collectors piece on the ground. In addition there is no 110-film available here for ten years. I think the flight performance of this Japanese rocket is rather poor : MIK

Hi ! Thats great ! Thanks for showing ! The Italian building looks very "futuristic". I have a similar camera in my collection and it seems that I have the only one in working condition. This ia a camera which you will not come across very often, but all I have seen had the crank missing, or broken. Here is mine: MIK

I still use a very old and heavy Agfa Duoscan with SCSI Interface. Bought it some years ago for about 75.- USD at an local internet platforn for used items. The processing is very slow, but it takes negatives from 24x36mm up to 8.5x12 inch, which is perfect for my collection of old glas plates :-)

Doug,
Very nice camera ! Ansco`s are not common here, but we have a lot of old Agfa stuff here in good old Austria. Last week while visiting a flea market I spotted two large Agfa box cameras marked with "made in Binghampton NY", but unfortunately they had been sold within minutes, each for 10.- as I was informed. Do you know if the Ansco company also produced cameras marked with "Agfa" ?
