Next to my complex where I live in Jakarta, there is a Hindu Bali Pura. Pura is a place for a pray and make a kind of ceremony for Balinese, so even the location fo the Pura is at the center of the most crowded city in Indonesia, if we go inside we can feel very different atmosphere.... quite and full of extra-ordinary aura. In one occasion, Adi (my Balinese friend) told me that if I want to I can join him to see the Saraswati Ceremony at that Pura... of course I said 'YES' and bring my Nikon EL + 35mm f/2 Nikkor lens plus several rolls of Tri-X. please enjoy it... didon.-

Michael, thank you Michael..... I love Rokkors manual lens more than other lens, they are sharp with 'thick' color reproduction, and cheaper than Nikkor or Canon lens in my country. Still cannot decide which one is better, Rokkor or Takumar .... didon.-

Hi all, This photo was taken with Minolta SRT Super, MC Rokkor 50mm f/1.7 and Lucky 100 film . I shot it in the morning with sun light from the right side. The building is a indoor stadium in my city, Istora Senayan, and that is one of it's gate that never used for a long time. Actually I dont understand why someone write the graffiti "uang" (= money) at that gate. I like this photo because of its side light and tight DOF , but I still dont know how to make it better photograph and be enjoyed by everybody... crop, tittle or other things I do? can you give some suggestion and critics ? didon.-

Hi all, I want to share this BW photograph... I love this photo due to several reasons, first because that is my oldest daughter, Putri , 3 years ago when she was 8 years old. I shot her when we going out for had some jogging at a public area near my neighborhood Second, I made that photo using my Canon EE EX.. one of camera that make me start to love analog camera more than before, it is simple enough with its automatic mode and make me remember the 'feel' of my father's FT QL , a first camera I used to learn how to make a photo long time ago. Third, that was the first time I use Lucky SHD 100, a cheapest negative film that can find easily my region after the golden era of analog. A film with very thin emulsion and without anti-halo layer but I think it still can work if we shot at EI 200 and develop as a normal exposure. and the other reason is, that roll of film is the first film I developed after long time 'break' , and the one that make me happy is I can still use my old darkroom accessories... so it makes me feel like had a time tunnel that take me back to 20 years from nowadays. in a short, that photograph is one of milestone in my photographic live, so even it look so simple it has a lot of meaning for me.... didon.- ps. critics and comments are very welcome...

yup, . 've read that link and all we're here agree that FM2 have different build quality than FM/10 or FE10, specially the famous 'honey comb' titanium shutter curtain in early FM2. Even they change the curtain in next gen of FM2, but it still cannot approve that FM2 made by other factory .
I just wondering about "It was proven by members of Photo.net in 2005 the FM2 was the same camera as the Contax S2 made by Cosina." that Randy has already said, 'couse there are 2 question in my mind right now....
- Is it right that FM2 is the same camera (with different label) with Contax S2 ? - Is Contax S2 made by Cosina ?
I still try to find the answer from the web, but I think it can be easier if I can find the discussion that was performed in 2005 on Photo.net.... at least the person that mention that fact.

@jamie thank you for the info, very useful for me. peter, I want to know details of the picts just as a proof that with that kind combinations (gear, film and chemicals) someone can make somekind of picture like that, so it can be as reference for me. I have several camera with their lens and accessories, films and chemicals that I want to try to know their performance one by one. I think it is interesting to try everything that we can try, as much as we can... and write down the result as a database, that may be can be useful for anybody else someday. To make a photograph, I've already got my style, if it can be called a 'style' .. , and happy with that so don't want to 'copy' or try to be somebody else with write something that I think it useful . About the gear, last year mostly I used the SRT Super w/ MC 50mm/1.4 and this year I use my MX with its 28mm SMC-M lens as a mate ... dont know about next year. Every year I try to change my 'mate', and use saveral films (and chemicals) I have as an experiment, even in one point I think I dont care about the result..... I just enjoy the process, ... the analog photograph process,... the feel when we got new gear, .. find other kind of film,.... different chemical recipe ... some strange process prosedure.... and others. That why I'm happy to join this forum that full fill of people with huge experience using photography things, especially analog... and want to get data as much as I can , and may be try to share everything I know if it useful for other people. Thank you very much for your 'rambling' .... haha...agree with Dave about that, I love it and get many useful information from that, and still want another in advance . Davethank you for the link.. About using several focal lens, which one is more useful for your self .... bring one camera and several powerful fixed lens, or several cameras (how many?) with several lenses attach to them, .. or using the best zoom lens we can got ( even we have to rent that lens.. ) didon.-

Mickey, yes, like Galen said it was look like, or the same camera with different name, with Argus. But I think my camera using name Revueflex according to the lens that I got is Revuenon , that describe in this side www.collection-appareils.fr/foto_quelle/html/Revueflex_2002.phpwww.collection-appareils.fr/foto_quelle/html/Revueflex_1001.phpbut after read your description, I am sure that Revueflex is have relation with Chinon or Argus. so may be if I want to find some accessories, I can start from Chinon or Argus database because it was so difficult to find information about Reveuflex. Is it a French brand origin or from other country? didon.-

hi, sorry if this topic has been discussed here ... I read "The Cosina Files!" up there and very surprised when know that Nikon FM2 is made by Cosina, as long as I know only FM10 and FE10 that were made by Cosina. Is that list credible enough? sorry to ask something like that, but may be someone can explain more detail about that. many thanks. didon.-
