Hi all... first I want to ask permisson for join this discussion about electronic minolta analog camera.. bobcurios when read a statement ..."I tried a few tricks I know to get it to unjam with no luck." ... , do you mind to explaint a litte bit more detail about the tricks, 'couse I have that kind of minolta too and perhaps someday I need to do your trick to treat the stuck mirror like that. @mickhael nice range of focal lens ... I love the rokkor 35 but unfortunately still dont have one of that rokkor lens. Can you give me some pict that take with that rokkor? X700 is my fav too among electronic minoltas , the minor disadvantage (for me) is that cam only can work with battery. ... compare to my lovely FG that born in the same era but still have 1/90 mechanical shutter. .. ( sorry , i think it's OOT . ) thanks.- didon.-

Rachelthank you, Mam ... that is my youngest daughter, Dhania. I took that pict 2 years ago when I tried the 135mm Revuenon using my dslr. Like everybody else, I think, majority of my photo is consist of pict of my kids.... Putri and Dhania, and fortunately both of them were very happy to be my models..... and of course I start to 'poisoning' them with my toys.... *... this pic was taken by Dhania, using Olympus XA2 didon.-

This camera came to me without enough information, the only information I got is only the name 'revuenon' in front of the optical lenses and 'made in Japan' mark at the back of the camera. After desperately searching in the net, finally I ask one of my friend and he give a link that describe some information about the camera with the same shape of mine. They called the camera : Revueflex I think it is a fully mechanical SLR with electronic metering system using 2 LR44 and one LED as a battery check lamp, use the M42 lens mount and can use the metering system in wide open. I found only a little info about this brand, hopefully anybody can help me to get more information about its accessories, lenses or anything. thank you .. didon.- * it came to me with 3 fixed lens... 35mm, 50mm and 135mm ... the optic is clear enough for the bargain price ( $ 70 ) * Revuenon 135mm f/3.5 - lens made in Japan

Hi all, Yashica GTN is one of my favorite RF camera, it has sharp f/1.7 lens and good rangefinder mechanism. The black body finish make this camera not too attractive among the crowd, but I still like the appearance with green - orange color numeric on the distance scale ring. The only minor disadvantage of GTN for me is it size that too big for RF... that why sometime I prefer bring the Yashica Electro 35 MC rather than this giant RF for snap shot along the street. -didon.-

wayne, in my place, the normal humidity is around 50-60 percent.... so to keep my stuff in 'normal' conditions I use 'dry cabinet' that using silica gel and some dehumidifier for a bigger container, with this methods I can get humidity around 35-40 percent in that boxes. this year I try to use only one camera and 1-2 lens..... and I choose MX + 28mm/2.8 for accompany me wherever I go. I love MX because it small enough to hold with one hand ( my hand is not big .. ) and the LED metering is simple to use even in the dark condition. other reason is.... it is fully mechanical and quite easy to find around my country.. * my lovely MX ... with its 'backup' on the MD .. didon.-

3 months ago I have an opportunity to go to Sydney for 2 weeks. During that period of time, I tried to capture as much as I can some photos that I though can be good sample of Sydney using my black Pentax MX and single fixed lens SMC-M 28mm f/ 2.8 . these are the pict that I got, it use HP5+ EI 400 and developed using homemade paRodinal with intermittent agitation. I hope you can enjoy it.... didon.-

Mickey hmm... yes, finally I get the advantages of plastic body... I ask about this low temperature because I saw a photograph of Mount Everest with it extreme low temp ( and low humidity, too) , and thinking what analog camera can do in that kind of situation, how to hold, focus and even change the film ..... didon.-
