Mickey,
I will be looking hard for one now, my best bet will probably be a trip to Toulouse, my village is in the middle of French agricultural country.
I now shy away from internet purchase, two weeks ago I bought some books from Amazon and last week my bank contacted me to tell me that they have blocked my card because someone was trying to place a big order with my card details. Good thing the bank smell a rat. That was the only time I bought through the net so be careful because even Amazon is not a safe place.
The bank will issue me with a new card.
Curt, I will not be able to catch you up because I will only get one, now that you mention about the F1, you are getting me all worked up, but first the EF.
Regards to you both

I'm a great fan of Stirling Moss, saw him race in my youth in UK, hats off to all those who race in that era, no proper protection of any kind and no electronics in their cars, just simple guts and skill

Have not seen one either Mickey, came across it when I recently purchased a 2nd hand book, Canon Modern Classics by Hove, apart from the description of the utilisation of the camera, no proper evaluation of it.
What I notice is that its a camera that is very seldom seen on the 2nd hand market, perhaps a short production run, possibly because AE-1 came after it and became Canon's best seller, same case as the Nikon FT3 after they released the FM.
I would like to get hold of one as well, Regards

Mickey,
I'm sure it is, mentioned earlier, sort of stayed away from Canon all these years until I got hold of a FTBn earlier this year and got to know Canons, they are second to none.
Tapping on your knowledge of Canons, what do you think of the EF, considering this one as my next project, Regards

Good find, enjoy. D'ont worry, I was suppose to concentrate on one brand 50 years ago, since then I have collected cameras of several manufacturers and now, I'm completely off track, anything that takes my fancy, cameras, that is. Regards,

The mechanical cars were from an era gone by where simple repair work could be done without plugging into a computer, thanks for showing, Regards

Thanks Mickey, the eyepiece of my RF camera is extremely flat without any groves for attachment, and the only way I can hook up a rubber eyecup is to apply glue.
I had a problem with my right eye about 20 years ago, a tiny vessel gave way and the spot blocked out my central vision, it has cleared over the years but there is still a certain limitation to my 3D viewing overall , Regards
