Most of the Chinese in South East Asia, depending on where you are , are made up of Hokkien, Cantonese, Hakka, Teo Chew, Hainian and from Formosa, these were the original waves when the last Empire was at its deathbed. The new wave from PRC and ROC are using SEA as a stepping stone for the West. Regards

Most of the Chinese in Britain originated from Hong Kong where Cantonese is the language and not Madarin. Integration is not an issue as religion and food does not come into question, sometimes in a typical Chinese family, you'll find Buddist, Catholics, Christians, etc, all mixed up.
The Chinese love their Pork, so if any religion that forbids pork, they will not be in it. You're right, gambling is in their blood, Cheers

Col Weather looks beautiful where you are, over here we're having a scorching sun with temp in the 30s, too hot and too bright. Best we can do is lie on a deckchair under the shade of a tree and enjoy our ice lemon tea, Regards

I'm happy 35mms are easily avaliable in our region so analog is pretty much alive over here. For prices, Leicas, Nikon RFs and Canon RFs are holding very well. Looking through the various sites, SLRs from the 60s, 70s, etc can range from 30€ up to 150€ depending on type and condition, Regards

Interesting sites, thanks for sharing.
Camera Collection is also very popular in the South East Asian Countries, in most of the cities there you do find 2nd hand camera shops.
Most of the prices reflect a good knowledge of the sellers of the 2nd hand market, Regards

Same here, all kinds of fairs except camera fairs, we have to go up North to Paris for them. The 700+km, have to think about it.

I bought only once from e-bay and that was the last time, the equipment was not as described. In any case I was not going to kick up a fuss for 50€ so e-bay ended there.
On my purchase, I set myself a limit depending of my budget and I prefer to buy direct from a honest trader, over the years, after trial and error, I stuck to a couple of good honest sellers and have never regretted.
There were a few cameras over the years that I missed, but then no regrets because I did not have the budget. Where I am is an old camera desert that is why I have to look elsewhere for honest sellers.
