My Zeiss Ikon collection additions of late are all financed by finding the mju-2's, Yashica T4 and T5's at carboot sales or similar outlets and sold them again... Make use of the hype!! Hans

Hi Phil, Collecting can be stessful, still. My main interest is Zeiss Ikon and - for example - variants of the Ikonta 522/24, if you want them all, is hard work! And than I even don't mention the variants of the Cocarette and/or Icarette... Hans

I have one, working great, but it has a fully electronic shutter, so you rely on the battery... Hans

I've always wanted one of those in that kind of shape. I once had one. It was in terrible shape but took great photos. Same here, but I still got it!

Sad but true: most bargains at charity shops are gone, mostly because of the internet where they search for current prices:-( Hans

I suppose you mean the OM2 Spot Program? I sold one years ago because of battery drain. Do I regret it? Yes...:-( Hans

Hannes, very good advice! I wished I had this advice some years ago..:-( But, on the bright side, a OM2SP is now back on the radar! Hans

Just sell it and buy a decent camera:-) I sold all T4, T5, and mju2's, only a T3 remaining as P&S - it is ugly, but has the better lens (2,8)... Hans

Ah, raybar, English porcelain... the old English rose of Wedgewood. Very popular here in the Netherlands. And also with the Lady of the House:-) Hansz
