The only Minolta I have left is the one my wife brought me from Florida, a Hi-Matic E. Other than that, I've been collecting old twin lens cameras for TTV photography.

Hi !
Greetings from the twilight zone! I've always wondered what would happen if sun print paper were inserted into a pinhole camera. Ever tried it?

Hi Mickey! Thank you for the kind words. The white spots are part of the milk glass vase that was holding the flowers. Looking at it again, you're right, there is room for improvement. I'm still experimenting. When I use one of the old cameras, I don't clean them first. I like the old look as well, mostly caused by a lifetime of being used and abused. The next one I'll be using is an Argus Seventy-Five. Like I've said before, it's fun Doug

Hi Again! I was playing around out at the desk, and took this photo of my Barbs' button collection. I like the color and the vintage look. Taken with an Anscoflex and my Fuji FinePix which was set on macro. I really enjoy these, and am still working on my technique, so please feel free to critique it, Thanks! Again, cropping and resizing were the only manipulation. Doug

Hi All! Here's another Ansco I picked up to play with. It's an Ansco Rediflex (very cheap ), and one more to use for TtV shots. The dirtier the viewfinder, the better! Taken through an Anscoflex, my favorite camera at the moment. The photo was cropped and resized, no other manipulation. I hope you enjoy these Doug

Hi All! The wife got back from Florida last weekend, she'd gone for a week and a half to visit her sister. She brought me back a very nice little Minolta. It takes two 640 batteries, they were still inside but totally dead I put four little LR44s with some foam to hold them in place and it sprang to life. I don't believe there's much of a difference in voltage and everything seems to work ok. It probably hasn't been used in years! We've got over a foot of snow on the way tonight, so after I'm done clearing it out of the driveway in the morning, I'll take a couple of shots of it to post. Doug

Mickey, I also have been looking for a smooth writing pen, that's how I got interested in them. Somewhere along the way, it became fun for me. I've been avidly collecting for a year or two. Some of the smoothest fountain pens I've found are the Jinhao branded ones; they don't cost much, but are well worth the effort to find and use. Recently, I purchased a Hero model 529 with a fine point nib. I love this one and use it for my everyday writing. It cost me a whopping 2.98 USD with free shipping!! When it arrived, I gave it a good cleaning and tune up before use. It comes with an ink converter, and looks very cool. I'll post a photo later. Seems I've got a thing for Chinese fountain pens I also use a Pilot B2P gel pen. It's made in Japan of recycled water bottles ( B2P = Bottle 2 Pen. Clever,eh? ). It's a nice writer as well. I write a lot, and have been using my computer less each day. It's not that I don't want or use it, but someone has to show the kids how it's done! They need to know. Doug

I was thinking you could use very thin floral wire to hold them.

Hi Mickey!
I'll have to look into the Lamy, I didn't think anyone made a fountain pen with a triangular grip. I found a package of Dixon Ticonderoga tri-write (triangular) pencils that have become a favorite of mine. I use them a lot, They ARE more comfortable to use. I'll send you a couple to try if you like.
