I just bought a new Nokia smart phone... should have paid extra and got the smart operator my old phone ceased working and I foolishly thought 'buy a phone.. plug in SIM card' and all my information will be there, NOT SO it seems my phone numbers etc were stored in my phone and not on SIM Im in a remote area so took me couple of days to get to telco's store to enquire... the phone had already accessed and downloaded info from internet (which is totally unwanted) and used up over $50 call credits leaving me with the need to recharge before I had even made my first call. Nokia need shooting.. how can they sell a phone which comes with absolutely no instructions which starts to spend your money for you from the time its turned on Is it just that I'm old fashioned and lost the plot? It makes me furious when I get RIPPED OFF

hey I found the solution to not enough space, I live on 500 acres with a lot of sheds, they all house at least some cameras along with model rail, samurai swords bank notes tobbaccianna (not sure how to spell that one) several manequins and of course a rather outsized stamp collection... my biggest problem is keeping up the supply of display cabinets Bob
Oh and did I mention Tins (biscuit, kero etc.)

I've always liked the strange items that come along in each collection and I think thats what attracts me to these odd shaped plastic (or bakelite) type cameras Your right Stephen, they are very much like the Coronets of which I also have a few varieties and they just have contacts for an add on external flash gun Imperial seemed to produced quite a few different shaped and often highly colourful camera's (I think perhaps to attract the young photographers market) maybe just a ploy like Kodak used... change models often and attracct new dollars

thanks Rachel, not quite sure why I cant get picture up, got it to work once and am doing exactly the same thing but doesnt seem to want to play anymore. Yes they are what I was meaning, all those strange little plastic bodied, plastic lens cameras that everyone seemed to produce years ago, I have dozens of them of varying styles in my collection (they are part of camera history) and I kind of like them... all a bit strange and wonderful.... all just something to do on a bad day (of which I have quite a few)

Amazing what people don't want anymore.. we've certainly become a throw away society.. not me though I have a reputation for throwing nothing away.. if I can't find a use for it anymore I buy a couple of others, put them on a shelf and call it a collection re-cycling shops are one of my favourite places
